Cast of Vices

Cast of Vices had their gathering last night for the opening of their F/W 2011 jewelry collection. The party was held at  The Santa Monica Museum of Art's retail shop, Gracie. Talking to owners Chris Glancy & Jay LeCompte, think gold -plated, silver Valium, Vicodin, Zanax & even the sedative-hypnotic drug Quaalude, popular on the 60's were featured in their collection. The imported porcelain pills used on the rings & pendants were stopped from US customs."They were claiming the pieces could have chemical substances in them". Also, they featured new leather bags, casting a critical eye on society's continued use of plastic bags. The collection will also be featured at Paris boutique Colette.
