Roman Deingruber

My friend Roman Deingruber was born in the Czech Republic in 1974, Deingruber was already showing artistic promise at age 10 when his paintings were selected for the Ostrava exhibition of young painters. Discouraged by the overly academic approach to art education in his country, and the controlling influence of the communist party on the arts, Deingruber moved to New York City at the age of 19 to pursue his work as an artist.  He works & lives in Los Angeles.

WOODWORK

Went to visit my friend Day at his wood work space in LA, CA. I wanted to talk to him about making custom wood pieces for my house & possibly learn how to make my own wood frames. SURF AD-VAN-TURES

I recently traded my lil beetle for a 89 VW Vanagon & had my 1st surf adventure this past week, 4 great surf days.  Started on Sunset, day 2 in Palos Verdes, day 3 in El Porto & day 4 at C Street in Ventura.. I only had a few pics of the waves in Ventura and thanks to my co-pilots Greg & Mark for guiding me around town!
